The MJR Group are currently hiring two Digital Marketing Assistants to work from their Bristol office.

As a leading multi-national concert promoter and venue owner, we are expanding quickly and require two Digital Marketing Assistants to join the team in the fourth quarter.
The primary focus will be to help drive the live music area of the business, working closely with the Marketing Manager, show bookers and venue staff, covering modern and traditional marketing areas.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly growing business and really develop your skills across marketing in the music industry.

The ideal candidate will be confident and willing to engage people with their copy through digital mediums.
As part of the Marketing team, you will be responsible for the promotion of live music events on social media (B2C), including planning content, liaising with press and reporting on show campaigns.
You’ll work with the show bookers and the bands – preparing material such as images, GIFs, videos and articles and posting said engaging content regularly.
The right candidate will be creative, methodical, switched on and have an enthusiastic approach to delivering show information to as many relevant show goers as you can reach.

The role will involve;

Email marketing,
Copy/advert writing,
Press Release creation,
Knowledge of multiple social media platforms,
CMS (WordPress) based event adding,
Intermediate social media promotion including PPE, PPC and potentially even Retargeting,
Occasional print ordering,
Proofing of show assets and creatives,
Some online customer service,
Reporting show budgets, statistics, and analytics.

Nice to haves include:

Basic HTML Knowledge
Photoshop ability,
SEO understanding,
Google Analytics/Ad roll experience,

About you:

You should love music and going to live shows.
You should have some knowledge of digital marketing.
You should be at least degree educated or above OR have one year’s worth of digital marketing experience for another company/agency.
You should have an excellent command of the English language.
You should probably be invested in the subject of digital marketing, showing your desire to grow and learn in this area.
You should be persistent and inquisitive, constantly looking at ways to improve processes and yourself.
You should be motivated, with high energy levels and with the ability to manage your own time.

Working hours are 9-5, Monday to Friday, although you may be expected to put in extra time as you move towards campaign deadlines.
Time in lieu is awarded and venue visits are encouraged.
